OUTLOOK 2026: The Counseling Center for Migrants Is on Board

On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, the PERSPEKTIVE 2026 job fair will take place at the MAK in Vienna. From 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., visitors can learn about job openings, training opportunities, and counseling services. The fair is organized by arbeit plus Wien in cooperation with AMS Wien and waff.

The Counseling Center for Migrants is also represented at the event. At Booth 18, the team provides information about counseling services, offers assistance with questions about entering the Austrian job market, and provides information on the recognition of foreign education and qualifications. Counseling in the individual’s native language is also part of the fair’s offerings.

What does the job fair have to offer?

Eighteen social enterprises and other organizations will be showcasing their offerings. Interested individuals can connect with companies, apply directly for open positions, and learn about continuing education opportunities. In addition, there will be free professional headshots, a resume review, and a job booklet featuring job listings, counseling services, and a map of the event.

The fair can be reached by public transportation via the U3 subway line, tram line 2, or bus line 74A (Stubentor), as well as via the U3/U4 subway lines (Landstraße – Wien Mitte). Registration is not required. Anyone who has received an invitation from the AMS specifying a particular appointment time should arrive at that time to avoid waiting.
