Migration. Woman. Family violence – a search

25. October 2023, 9:30

Migration is feminine. Hardly any population group faces more problems than women with a migration biography – especially when there are family problems and violence in the family. Breaking free from violent relationships is difficult because the strict regulations in residence law, lack of educational and employment opportunities, and economic inequality are key obstacles for immigrant women. Together, this module discusses and analyzes the areas of residence, labor market, and work-life balance. This knowledge should show ways to free oneself from dependencies and stop violence. Because: Migrant women must not be allowed to slip into isolation.
