Migrant at Single Mothers’ Day at Vienna City Hall

On September 28, 2026, the “Single Mothers’ Day – Fair of Opportunities” took place at Vienna City Hall. The Counseling Center for Migrants was also represented there. Our colleagues Maryam Singh and Angela Ivezic provided visitors with information about our counseling and support services and were available for one-on-one conversations.

The event, organized by the Vienna Women’s Service in collaboration with the Vienna Chamber of Labor, brought together numerous counseling and service centers in one place. Single mothers were able to learn directly about support services covering topics such as careers and continuing education, financial issues, balancing family and work, and psychosocial counseling.

In addition to personalized counseling, the event provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and network with other organizations. Free workshops rounded out the program and offered practical information and inspiration for everyday life.

For the Counseling Center for Migrants, participating in the event was a great opportunity to present our services firsthand and engage in conversation with visitors and other organizations.
