Migrant was represented at the Anti-Racism Day at Vienna City Hall. The focus was on equal opportunities, respect and the Vienna Action Plan against Racism.
Migrant hosted a professional exchange with Bryn Mawr College from Pennsylvania. The focus was on women and migration, the situation in Austria and practical experiences from our counseling work. The visit underlines migrant’s international visibility as a best-practice model in the field of migration and women’s work.
Migrant was represented at the Vienna Women’s Week around March 8, 2026. In addition to participating in the Open City Hall, workshops were also organized by women from our community – a strong sign of exchange, visibility and cohesion.
This event is aimed at women with migration experience who are planning or would like to make a new start in Vienna. The focus is on practical information, orientation and support on professional, social and legal opportunities – for example, on job market opportunities, training, counseling options or legal issues regarding residence.
The Vienna Action Plan against Racism 2025 is a comprehensive program of the City of Vienna to prevent and combat racism in all its forms. It was adopted by the Vienna City Council in October 2025 and is aimed at both the city administration and the entire population of Vienna in order to strengthen social cohesion and actively counteract discrimination.

Migrant attended the “Innovation in Politics Awards 2025” in Vienna – an evening full of impulses for integration, participation and innovative solutions.
The migrant advice center was represented at the ENGAGE.EU Expedition Week+ at WU Vienna in 2025. Maryam Singh contributed the perspectives of the advice center to the international discussion.
