On September 28, 2026, the “Single Mothers’ Day – Fair of Opportunities” took place at Vienna City Hall. The Counseling Center for Migrants was represented there by our colleagues Maryam Singh and Angela Ivezic.
The event, organized by Frauenservice Wien in collaboration with the Vienna Chamber of Labor, brought together a total of 22 counseling and service centers. Single mothers were able to find out, all in one place, about support services related to financial issues, careers and continuing education, balancing family and work, psychosocial counseling, and leisure and respite care options. Maryam and Angela informed the visitors about the counseling and support services offered by the Counseling Center for Migrants and were available for one-on-one conversations. At the same time, the event provided a good opportunity to exchange ideas and network with other counseling centers and organizations.
