The project is part of the new &#8220;Diversity Alliance&#8221; platform, which consists of a total of 9 initiatives.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: 000000;\">Here you will find over 150 events and activities taking place between 13 May and 9 June: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/diversityweeks.at\/programm\/\">https:\/\/diversityweeks.at\/programm<\/a> Under the umbrella of &#8220;Diversity Weeks 2024&#8221;, a colourful mix of cooperation partners are organizing a wide range of events and activities.<br \/>\nThese range from intercultural events, workshops and discussions to sports and leisure activities. <strong>Nationwide diverse program<\/strong> The program covers the whole of Austria and includes open days, lectures and discussions, intercultural meeting points, workshops, seminars and cultural events such as concerts, theater and film screenings on the topic of diversity.  The aim of the initiative is to raise awareness of the importance of diversity and send a positive signal for an open and inclusive society. The event series offers a variety of activities to bring together people from different backgrounds, religions, sexual orientations, gender identities and abilities. The project is supported by the City of Vienna &#8211; Integration and Diversity. The main media partner is W24. Christoph Wiederkehr, Executive City Councillor for Education, Youth, Integration and Transparency and Deputy Mayor of the City of Vienna on the &#8220;Diversity Weeks&#8221;:  <em>&#8220;How empty would Vienna be without its diversity? Our differences make us strong and unique. Vienna is a cosmopolitan city, proud of its diversity and the values that unite us. Whether in business, in administration, in politics or in the media &#8211; we should always have this one goal in mind and pursue it together &#8211; for a good, shared future.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional information: Vienna Diversity Award<\/strong>  A highlight of the &#8220;Diversity Weeks&#8221; is undoubtedly the first presentation of the &#8220;Vienna Diversity Award&#8221;. The award is intended to help highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion in society and encourage people to take measures to promote diversity and inclusion themselves. The prize is awarded to organizations and individuals who have implemented innovative and sustainable measures to promote diversity and inclusion in Vienna and thus set a positive example. The Vienna Diversity Award will be presented in four categories in 2024:  <strong>1. inclusion and accessibility 2. multilingualism 3. equality for women 4.
