Migration, trauma and strength – really understanding people

15. October 2026, 9:00 - 12:00

Migration is more than just a change of location – it is often associated with ruptures, losses and deep inner processes. At the same time, it brings enormous strength, resilience and new perspectives.

In this presentation, we combine specialist knowledge with practical experience and explore key questions:

  • What does trauma mean in the context of migration?
  • How do we recognize burdens that are not expressed?
  • How do we create spaces in which people feel safe and empowered?
  • 📅 Date: Thursday, October 15, 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • 📍 Location: Vienna, Amtshaus Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus
  • 👩 Lecturers: Maryam Singh, Ana-Maria Slivar
  • 📝 Registration: https://ticket.wien.gv.at/M17/texvr
